Thanks for all the pics and suggestions, guys. This definitely gives me some ideas. I may try to mock up some pieces with cardboard, just to get an idea if they'll work. If it looks feasible, I'll try using some fiberglass to make something more permanent.

Mid 70's GM cars like Monte Carlo and Pontiac GP's had a thin rectangular air inlet attached to the 3in. hose to the air cleaner. I was able to put mine on each side of the radiator. I made an air cleaner similar to the Olds air cleaner. Cut the snorkel from an old one and add it to a good one.

My Valiant has a Ram Air box housing and two home depot dryer ducts. Right now they are just shoved through the holes in the radiator support, but eventually I want to make some sort of sheet metal snorkel that will firmly attach to the radiator support and allow me to clamp the hose to it.

67' is an abbreviation of 67 feet
They are not interchangeable.
