My street Strip car is in for some work and I haven't been able to work on her for 1.5 months. How are your builds progressing? My Projects at the moment-Body work -Mock up for procharger, intercooler -Fuel System -Motor Plate

Hopefully our boy will drive this to high school just like I did. We're the original owners, real Roadrunner, 33,000 miles, B5 blue with blue interior, 340/727 but we will big block it. Or if someone wants to buy it...............Times are tough right now.

Hey Rob, looks like a fun project!
I went over to the ex's where my junk is (still) at today and worked on this...
Seduce the attractive, and charm the rest.

This is what I work on in my spare time... 38 Ply 440 powered, 727, 9", 4-link. I need to finish the interior AGAIN(didnt like it). This is now a 3 seater (tubs are the arm rests for the back seat). I have a blower for it but I dont want to cut the original hood.... so I might make one

Its not really a "build" because I've never had the facilities to completely tear a car down and go through the whole thing. Heck I did not even have a garage until 2007. It's starting to get a little more cramped in the 2-car now with the air compressor, second rollaway etc (not pictured) but it's way better than what I had before. God willing, I'll be able to get a detached shop built in the future and will be able to get more into the "build" aspect of things. At least sheetmetal, paint, and interior anyway which is all the car actually needs besides a 10 second ET.

I took these on my phone, so please excuse the quality I'm re-doing this now I picked these up for a good deal, just have to make them fit, lol The plan was originally a mini tub and ladder bars which has now turned into a 3/4 chassis 4 Link. Just have to decide whether I am going to go 2 x 3 to the 4 Link brackets or a full tube 3/4 chassis. It will keep me busy nonetheless! Power will be from a R5/P7 engine from Rick Liuzzo, a 904 trans by myself with a Phurd Aluminium 9" with 40 spline axles. Still alot to do! AL...

Here is a picture of my street/strip '73 Duster I have been working on. As you can see it is still on my frame jig. The car has been back halfed with ladder bars narrowed Dana 60 and it will have 31 x 18-1/2 Mickey's on the back. The car will be powered by 526 Hemi with a nitrous works plate kit. The process is slow going - but moving along.
Is this your garage? It looks like one in Berkley that I have seen.

Hi Ron that's what I thought too, I didn't build the motor, the guy bought it that way, they took it all apart to inspect it, I think I would have lopped of the tops of the pistons, we'll see how it works, he's a cpa, and said hell I'll run the racing gas no problem! thanks Russ

The same project for quite a while now. Currently working on an engine upgrade to 572" alum. Hemi. Still a lot of body and paint work to do. I like seeing these other projects coming along! Mark

Hey Dave, the car looks great, has paint on the front now right? I'd be sad to see you sell it I was hoping to see you at the track with it.

HPmike Your car is an absolute beauty. There are a number of cars that i see on Moparts that inspire me to do my Road Runner. Yours is one of them I hope you finish it.

Got my '66 back from the body shop in Sept of '06. After taking the first month to put some of the car together, I just cannot get motivated to finish it. It's a factory Hemi car with a 4 speed. I was building it to run NSS, complete with a nasty 540 with all the goodies, but have since changed my mind and really don't know what to do with it at this point. The sad part is that I have built dozens of cars for others and just cannot get motivated(or slow enough ) to finish my own junk. Put me also in the "money is tight" situation. if I don't finish it by late spring, then perhaps it's time to let er go

Here is another one of my ongoing projects - not a Mopar but still pretty cool. 1985 Chevy Military 1 ton 4 wheel drive pick up. 468 Rat motor in it - custom 5" single exhaust. Mainly a street machine.
