Anybody using a Procharger done any testing with merge collectors? My guess is that straight through make more power but we have both and will probably test unless I can get some definitive answers from those who may have done it already. -Bob

The merge collector is to increase volicity to draft
the intake charge in but with a pressurized intake
you wouldnt need the added volicity in the exhaust

I agree with you Mike. I'm just trying to get some solid data so I can get my buddy to take the straight throughs out of the box and put them onto the car.

That's the plan right now, Cab.

The only experience I have, is what I see. When some of the Pro-Street type cars, with Pro-Chargers, show up for ADRL events, they take the mufflers off and just let the pipes stick out the side like zoomies.

Monte

PS. I hate to see Doug give up on the nitrous. I know there was more there and it could be made to live with some small changes. Buck, said that Bitzers 632 would never live on 3 kits, but at the end of the year, we had 30 1/4 mile hits on 3 guns and he said it looked like new inside when he tore it down.

Monte,

The Supercar race at Vegas was the last straw. We leaned the kits to 5 jet spacing and were ready to run some numbers. The first qualifier it was hauling azz till the 800' marks when it melted a piston. We had pistons and we were going to fix it then retard the timing for the second round but besides melting the piston if scrapped the liner so we were done. We still qualified in the top half with the aborted pass so had it of lived we may have been able to go fast. We're deep into the Procharger now so there's probably no turning back. -Bob
