How much grinding is to be expected for a chevy journal 4.5" stroke crank in a world products block ? Just wondering how much I will need to take off the bottom of the cylinders. Thanks.

I did not have to do any grinding for stroke clearance on my World block with a 4.5" stroke Bryant crank. I had to do very minor grinding to the bottom of the bores to clearance for the aluminum rods however.

Rods and crank are K1 steel. Just looking for a rough estimate on what to expect.

You should be fine and not require any clearancing at all. But with all things mock it up first.
