That would be the way to go if you are looking for that look

I'm just looking for them not to rust instantly. Look is really low on the list of criteria. Mine will never be what most people consider "nice".

Well, yesterday afternoon I tweeked on the car a bit hooking up wiring, getting the radiator ready to install etc.. I decided to go ahead and move the heater motor plate so that the cutout faces the driver side as suggested. I'm glad the issue was brought up in that when I went to remove the plate I found the heater motor to be loose. Not good. So, tomorrow I'm removing the heater box to se what's going on with that.

Oops!!! forgot the metal spacers. Too much stuff to remember sometime

Another update. Got the dash in. Went right in. Tackled the wiring today. I'm waiting on some cable clips from R/T Specialties before I proceed. Buddy of mine with an automotive electrical shop will be coming over to check all the circuits

Dash is pretty much done. Got the ebrake mechanism in place. Car is on the lift again for exhaust install, ebrake lines and generally tightening things up. Greasing the suspension and adding fluids to the rear end is also on the agenda.

Also the quarter windows are in. Side window mechanisms are next. More pics to follow tomorrow.

Here's the results of todays activities. Got the exahust a mocked up, not quite finished. I need to contact Accurate and get some hangers so I can get everything hung correctly.

Got the front sway bar on but not sure if its correct. I'll be sending some pics to Firm Feel asking for their advise.

Looks like it's upside down. The hump at the front should be up, not down. The sway bar should go over the top of the K-member to rad support brace.
