Found this old P&C ratchet...pretty old I think. It's a push through reverse, I don't think they've made one of those in 3/8" since the 30s. It is really compact and has a nice feel to it. It came with a couple old swivel sockets. Love this kind of stuff!

one of the best sets of taps and dies made. i have a set of those as well as a set that has individual "blocks" that go into size specific holders, so that both course and fine threads can be cut with one holder. i don't know what year the sets are from though.
if replaced today with comparable quality, you would be paying a good buck for the set. like the saying goes, take good care of quality tools, and they will last several lifetimes".
