Just saw Gateway will be the first stop and I assume the last, for this year's Drag Week. I appears it is later than normal, tech inspection is Sunday Sept. 13.

Where will they go from St. Louis?

My vacations from 1996-2002 consisted of Labor Day race at Mo-Kan Dragway, followed the next weekend by Monster Mopar Weekend at Gateway in St. Louis! 6 of the quickest and fastest 25 passes in my life were made there.

The most important part of a trip from Tulsa to St. Louis is to leave time for a stop in Springfield Mo. Home of the Bass Pro Shops headquarters, and Lambert's Café, "Home of the throwed rolls"

Cost is irrelevant, making memories is far more important.

I'm hoping HEMI Joel will have his Hot Rod ready for DW. If so I'm riding shotgun with him. Would like to meet up with any Moparts members on the down time.

Lamberts is awesome but the best is the original in Sikeston. A bowl of white beans and jowels with a side of greens and some cornbread is the bomb...Perfect meal for a road trip

Probably drive by Lamberts from Gateway to Memphis which is my guess for Day 2. Day 3 guess is Bowling Green and Day 4 LORP in INDY. Of course Day 5 back to gateway. These tracks could also happen in reverse order.

That was the same tracks we ran in 2013, I hope thats not the route as I like hitting new tracks. I think indy or Joliet is day two but who knows.

That would be cool! I could hit two new tracks.

Because of dragweek my Barracuda has been driven in more states than any of my daily drivers have lol.

I will never be able to participate, but good luck to everyone from moparts that gets in! I will be watching it religiously on youtube again, I found it extremely interesting last year.

Don't understand why it's taking so long!

You have no idea of the logistics it takes to put this thing together. You don't always go where you WANT to go, on the days you WANT to be there. You are really at the mercy of the tracks, because there is little to no money for them to make on this deal

I agree with what Monte said plus I am sure the tracks have a hard time getting workers during the week. I would assume most have regular day jobs and as you know we need the proper people for track prep etcetera.
