Will it fit? And what backspace? Yes, I know I can measure, but asking someone who has done it is much easier.
Truck is an 81 d150 all stock. I believe the 285 is 30.25x9.75

Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural

Perfect. Now I want wheel vintiques. They have 4.5 or 4" backspace. Is there room to go in a 4.5bs? Thanks.

I'm running that tire on an 8" wheel on my 65 D100, specifically the BFGoodrich / Coker Tire version.

I managed to fit 32-11.50 x 15 on 8" American whitespokes under my '64 D100 Sweptline. You could look them up to see what th4 BS was, I think it was 4.5 but can't remember for sure.

The tires you mention are a little bit narrower and shorter than the ones I used. I think you'll be fine, but measure measure measure!

R.

That is exactly what I want to run. Thank you , and beautiful truck. Mind sharing what front runners those are? Mine are 205/70. too small, and on a narrow 15x5.5 steel wheel.
