You're insane if you carb that truck. The 92-93 dakota should be one of the best bracket racers of the era once you get traction stabilized. A MP computer should still be available for that truck depending on tranny and the aftermarket is still there for the magnum engine. The performance aspect of the magnum engines has been beat to death- all the tricks are out there on the internet, like this http://bionicdodge.com/Download/Speedtweaks%20Tips%20And%20Tricks.pdfAgain, you should drive a chevy if you carb this truck. Seriously.

Hughes air-gap intake. Port the factory one yourself or get hughes to do their "big gulp" thingy to it. You can still use OBD 1. Just throw a little bigger injector out of a 460 in it and do the advance trick to the crank sensor. If you get a little more serious you can adapt a later model pump in it, they run a tad higher preassure. Having my own scanner to watch what the fuel trim is doing can give me an idea what to do to trick the computer into doing what I want but they are expensive. Might find someone to borrow one from and see what happens when you put it together. There are ways around needing a tuner although a tuner is best
