I have restored two old Mopars (70 Challenger and 70 Dart Swinger) using Classic industries, Year One and various resources during the past several years.
I have a 1968 D-200 power wagon needing glass, gas tank, birfield joint rebuild kits...
Can anyone point me in the right direction for parts and pieces? So far not as obvious as the car class...
Thanks

I bought a '74 W200 Power Wagon a couple months back.

One source for you might be VintagePowerWagons (see link at bottom of this post) which has parts up to 1971.

It doesn't work well for me as I have a '72 - '80 style, but it should be a good source for you.

For my '74 truck, DodgeTruckParts.com works well.

I will check my Bookmarks and see what others I have.

JC Whitney (though generic) is another potential source which oftentimes has parts you need.

Also, some parts are common between cars and pickups. I noticed the sun visors on my pickup appear to be the same as the ones on my '71 Charger. The outer door handles on my truck are the same as A-Body Duster/Demon door handles.

www.sweptline.org could be of service, although you have to dig a little.

Good luck on the restore, I'm deep into a heater valve problem on my '64Dog. Seems the valve is non-rebuildable and if one can find a NOS one they run north of $100.

I don't think VPW has much anymore. Years ago they had sheet metal and many Sweptline parts but that seems to have dwindled.

Glass can be bought new. The windshield is available from many sources and the rest of the glass is flat and can be cut easily by a glass shop.

The gas tank can only be purchased used unless you find a NOS one somewhere. Many people have moved them out of the cab and retrofitted a tank from another vehicle under the bed.

I can't remember if the '68 has pushbutton door handles or not. That would be early or late style cab, although they look exactly the same. My '64 has the earlier style. Even though they look the same, when I tried to put a 1971 tank in my 1964, it took a lot of massaging to get it to fit.

I really dislike the tank in the cab. There are many tanks that will fit in where the spare tire would go under the back of the bed. I have a 1973 C-body tank that goes in like it was built for it, but haven't installed it yet.

The only good thing about the tank in the cab is if it leaks you know it right away!

There is a plastic valve from napa that works well. I will get a part number.

I appreciate the response's! Interesting about the interchangeability with some car parts...I had not thought of this (I have collected a lot of car 'shtuff' over the years). I will post pictures soon of some progress.
I also will be relocating the cab fuel tank...
