89 Dakota. When lights are turned on, they will go off and on by themselves. Switch?

Switch and/or melted wiring at switch connector would be my guess.

i just replaced mine for the same reason. switch is bad. if you jiggle it, and the lights come back on, it's the switch for sure.

duralast pn: sw189 at autozone. i think it was right around 20 bucks.
