I am slowly getting my 73 club cab back up and going. It came with factory cruise control that never worked for me. The unit on the driver's inner fender was discarded long ago. I am trying to find the parts and advice on getting it hooked back up and working. Does anyone know what years these cruise control units fit or if there is a place that has new/rebuilt ones. Also, do the switches in the steering column fail, I still don't know why it quit working in the first place.

That unit fits a ton of cars, trucks and vans. Should be easy to find. Get a manual and you can diagnose the rest very easily. Its a simple design.

Good news! I was hoping that was the case. Any idea what year I can go up to? Most of the old stuff in junk yards around here was crushed years ago.

Find an older RV that is parting out. There is a nice setup in an old Apollo parting out near me that I'm getting the 440 from.
