M/T 3788R Drag Radial
They've adertised it in their catalog since Jan. 2007 and I've seen full page ads in various magazines ever since... they're still advertising it even now but to this day have yet to produce a single tire.
I ordered a set in August 2007, was on backorder for 15 months until Summit finally called me and told me they are cancelling all backorders for this tire because it has become plainly apparent that the manufacturer has no intention of ever producing it.
And yet they continue to advertise it.

Is an alternative available? Maybe Hoosier or BF Goodrich? Hard to believe an icon in our hobby can be like that. I have heard that during the past decade M/Ts quality has been goin down.
Keep old mopars alive.

M/T is extremely popular right now, they make a good slick and they make the best drag radial tire. Hopefully they don't get hurt by the fact that the NHRA is only allowing Goodyear tires.

I posted this on Yellow Bullet and got this reply from someone that works at Mickey Thompson, let's hope he's right: Quote:
