Building my stroker combo, K1 crank, 4" stroke, 6.123 rods, main girdle. Will a factory windage tray work, if not what are you running??

I was told the Hughes stud girdle acts as a crank scraper.

Kasey, if that Charlies pan has a screen in it & baffles like my Steffs pan, you don't need a windage tray.

Very few guys find any benefit in using a tray with an A engine. Crank scrapers are worth looking into, however.

I use crankshaft scrapers in any motor that will be RPM above 5000 RPM, street, strip or hauler A good, one way screen helps also, especially in the front of most pans(where they are shallow to clear the K members) so the oil won't bounce back up into the rotating assembly

Been told by the gurus for a long time, going back as far as McCandless, to not bother using one on a small block.

Are you running H-beam rods that yo don't have clearance? My I-beam stroker has lots of clearance.
