would you run 2 650 holley vac.secondary carbs or say 2 600 AFB's. i have the holley but only one afb.This is strip only with ported "576" heads with 2.02" intake,340 replacement heads.
In a gremlin body at around 2700lbs.

You got the Holleys, try them now and see if they are good enough for your ambitions, maybe 750 CFM vacume carbs are in your future

I didnt care for the vac secondaries on my 340
when I was running a tunnel ram, they were too
inconsistant on opening the secondaries and I spent
alot of time trying to correct that. I finally picked
up a set of 750dp and the car ran quicker and more
consistant

I have a pair of 750 dp but wouldn't that be a lot of carb for 365" motor.12.6 cr and engle kv-3 cam.250@.050 and .575" lift.Gears undertermined yet,1/8 mile.

Absolutely not. Especially not if you go with Quick Fuel Annular ones. An annular boostered carb responds like a carb almost 200cfm smaller. I would run at least two 750dp's if not bigger.
