Anyone know what kind of input the OEM dash speakers were rated for? Mine is dead, and I want to replace it. Would it be safe to say that a dash speaker that can replace the B and E bodies prior to 1975 would work for this truck? I'm looking at one from Classic Industries, but if any of you have replaced one with a new one, where did you source it from? I'd like to keep the "entertainment center" stock for a while.

Thank you,

Joe Cruse

The one I'm looking at has 4 ohm impedance. No idea about Mopar stock speaker; does anyone else??

Yes, single dash speaker. After some research, I found out the 4ohm speakers are not the way to go. I found a shop on-line that sells speakers for this old stuff, and refurbs radios, so I'm going to see what they can do.

I like that site! I'm keeping my bench seats, so the bench console would be great. Good choice of speakers and audio too.

I came across this site today, and heard back from them this evening:

http://www.turnswitch.com/

I may let them convert my radio for me. AM/FM and a jack for my phone, or a Sirius some day, and keep my OEM look.

Thanks for the link, it is going to be useful for me!

Will do. I think it takes them a couple of months to do it.

I like the looks of those 3-point seatbelts on the site you posted. I would love to put a set of those on both seats in this crew.
