Hey Guys,

Has anyone used KB pistons in a stroker motor?
the reason I ask is because I was at summit yesterday and on the clearance rack was a set of 8 pistons for a BBM for $60 dollars.
I looked up the part#(kb251030-3)
they are a stephead piston and you can use them with a 4.150 or a 4.250 crank in a 440 or a 3.75 crank in a 400.
I`m wondering if they would be o.k for street motor?

thanks and MERRY X-MAS

i think they'd be fine in a street car. the compression is kinda low with a 440, about 8.9:1. i thought about building an 87 octane iron head 493 using those pistons. a 400 would have about 10.5:1 compression. i'd buy them for $60, if they were in o.k. shape.
