one is the exhaust from the turbo, the other I bet is the BOV, just a guess others can tell you for sure.

I hear ya.... but if you were to order a BOV it would
be different than a waste gate.. for one thing a
BOV is usually alum and the waste gate is steel/iron
due to the environment that they are in

Wastegates bleed off drive pressure, BOV's bleed off boost pressure.

Just something been thinking about with the traction control, fuel control and boost control. Would a short stroke big bore engine be better suited for this type of street racing( recover faster from turning off and on)?

unless you run a wastegate on your boost pipe to control boost on your blower car...........

forget traction control and run a short stroke high rpm engine combination

(but i'm stupid )

I never watched the show until reading this and looking it up yesterday, got me all hot-n-bothered so I had to drag mine out last night for a ride up to the fishcamp

8sec. street car, been there done that. Quitting when your ahead isn't the same as quitting.
