Finished up with my engine freshenup yesterday, getting it ready for next season, had a lot of stress going in with not being able to get the old type rear main seals like I used to use, and not being able to find the old type mopar steel shim gaskets, like I used forever, but all water under the bridge now, and I would like to thank a couple of members for their help with supplying parts, THANKS CAB, and CRABMAN173,
got it installed and the weather was fairly nice here yesterday, temp was in the upper 50's, and today it is in the low 30's for the high, and I said what the heck, lite this baby up, primed it and threw the charger on it for a few minutes, and it fired right up, just the way I like one to do,ran it for around 15 minutes, giving it a rap every now and then, and shut it down, checked for any leaks, and all is good, let it cool down some, drained the water, pulled the headers, and retorqued the heads, pulled all the pushrods back out, shot a little lube into the cylinders, and now it is ready to sit for awhile, now I'm ready to go racing, but it will be another couple of months before anything happens. guess I can catch up on my hunting, and watching the tube.

Dave

Man that's gotta make your winter that much more relaxing. I've never had a fire up go that smooth, almost went to the hospital on one of them.
