With my decision to go GenIII Hemi in my RC & the trans going out in my ShortBed as well as the 318's gaskets dried out after sitting 5-6 years & was bleeding like a firing squad victim so

So it was out with this

& in with this

Behind it is a 727 now with a manual valvebody & the battery moves to the rear like the gas tank

The slam & a 8 3/4 with 3.91's is right after I finish up

Edelbrock RPM so I could use the serpentine otherwise I'd have used a Crosswinds

A Holley carb won't clear easily at the A/C bracket
I'm using this 600 for now & when I get my 750 HP done I'll put it & the Whiplash to the Magnum

Major upgrade, My son pulled the 50HP (or whatever they were rated) 318 in his 88 and swapped in a 98 360. Truck is much more fun and usable now.

I did my CrewCab 8 years ago & put a 518 in with its Magnum

What a huge difference
It got better mpg than the truck it came from & the carb made that Magnum wake up some
I may put a 518 in this spring so I can take it on a trip or two

Yes: Sean swapped out the 3 spd auto for an NV4500, another terrific upgrade.

One of my future swaps will be a NV upgrade with hydraulic clutch
