Funny part of this project is Dave has already planned the "next engine" for this car and I have not even blown up the current engine as it has not even been started shruggy I also think he may have to add more bars - whistling Yep it's a simple project that may be spiraling out of control BUT the car may fit into 2 classes with the new mill stirthepot

"Yep it's a simple project that may be spiraling out of control"

it's a budget build with an undefined budget! but somehow I think we will exceed that budget also!

An update on Double Trouble - MM2 Engine and tranny are in and all hooked up - Andy's engine plate makes it easy - nice piece and worth the money. Interior is back in the entire car was re-wired - I put everything in the glove box which can be removed with four screws and slid out - the shifter is mounted up with a custom mount WJ440 made for us - works perfect with the bench seat. All the plumbing is done - the fuel system is a full return Holley regulator and big Holley pump we had on the shelf - getting there just a few more hook-ups and we should be able to fire it up

Everyday is Saturday Russ, I'm a retired old fart, so far its been very good, other than the stock market bouncing all around. Ive sold my house in WV, and moved to Western Ky. Everything moved, but still unpacking. I'll see you guys in Bowling Green, it'll be a short trip for me, but not a bad one for you guys, diesel is cheap, hoping race gas follows, that would probably be to much to expect though.

Thanks but it's not me ------ all I do is watch Dave do everything and I'm his go fer. I go fer whatever he wants and needs and then sometimes I even drink beer while watching him work whistling He is doing a really fine job on it too bow

Kind of sounds like we could do a new reality car show for TV work you know he plays the smart one and I'm the idiot that gets yelled at all the time. But if they paid me I could care less grin

Gofering and drinking huh, that's a good job as long as you keep them in that order. Save some beer money for Bowling Green, team car is looking good. You bringing both to Bowling Green?
