I have a line on a 72 Stepside D100. I think this was a military truck, just because it is such a stripper. Here's the question...did these things actually come with wood bed floors? If so, are they just 3/4" plywood? This one has a 318/727/9 1/4, heater, and not much else!
Also, where could a guy get the rubber floor mat (no carpet) for this?

It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.

Girls comb their hair in rear view mirrors and the boys try to look so hard....

yep, wood floor in early stepside beds. they went to all metal some time mid 80s.

85 is last yr for stepside bed. my 85 is all metal floor.

they have wood kits for them IIRC

look at some of the LRE truck stuff for wood kits.

check out moparts sponsor DODGECONNECTION on the sponsor page

Yes it should be a wood floor but it should NOT be a piece of plywood. Should be 7 boards with metal strips holding them down.

72 should be an 8 3/4

My 72 was a stripper truck. 318/3 on the tree. Manual steering, drum brakes (power).

Post pics when you get it

individual boards would make things easier...im waiting on the guy to call me now. more news and questions to come! and this one has 4wheel drums too. I believe they are power but it's been a while since I've looked under the hood.

Na this is some Lil Red wood - this is K&G's wood the other one was a Mar-K kit.

K&G's always seems to come out smoother no matter what.

Do you have dimensions on the boards? width and thickness? I'm pretty sure I can figure out the length!
