I'm in the middle of finishing up a ground up restification on this original owner R4 red 1969 Roadrunner.......383, auto on the column, power steering, manual drum brakes, AC, fender turn signal indicators, Road Wheels, white line tires, pewter interior, bucket seats with buddy seat and 6 way seat.....

The car was pretty rough......had rust in the 1/4's, big dent in driver's side 1/4, trunk rusted and he and his wife wanted the car better than new.......so, I've done a ground up and it's almost finished.......

Here's how the car looks now...It came with 14" Road Wheels but Dudley decided he wanted 15" Magnum's so those were installed with new white line radial tires from Diamondback since he's planning on putting a LOT of miles on the car...

Too bad the original paint had to go but the customer's always right and real life always shows the truth that a photo hides. Good to see someone making real progress when working on a customer car too. Must be because of that young guy you've got helping, eh?

Hi gang,
I sold my 4 speed road runner with a Pewter decor bench interior. It was a project car. Black body with a silver A4 PAINTED roof. It is in the members projects. What a job Mike is doing on it. Check it out. What a head turner it will be when it's done! There were 2 A12 road runners at Carlisle this year with pewter interiors. The black one had power windows!
Great R4 car resto.

I got the motor finished and ran it on the break-in stand today...512" 400, E-Street heads ported by Dwayne Porter, Porter solid cam, RPM intake and manifolds....should make an honest 500hp and be very mild...it has 15.5" of vacuum at idle...

I drove the car to the gas station yesterday and filled it up....on the way home I got tangled up with a brand new Vette from a 50mph roll...I bet the Vette owner was surprised when I kept pulling away...it's amazing what 512 cubic inches, ported Edelbrock heads and a Dwayne Porter solid flat tappet cam will do...
