Just ordered new tires and rims for my jeep and the look look really off to me. They don't look that bad on the jeep though. Do you think guys think I should take them back? He told me if I didn't like them on the jeep I could bring them back.

I've just never seen the rim flush with the outside of the tire. Usually there offset in a little ways. I agree it does give it kind of a military look with the out side flat like that.

I prefer the wheel disc to be centered in the rim for strength. In other words in a rim that is 10" wide, I would like to see a 5" back spacing. In the real world it probably does not make any difference at all but it could. I have seen a lot of bent aftermarket wheels

I'm not real crazy about the flat look of the wheels, but i really like the 80's strip package.

Not the best shot of the hood, though.

Wow. And I thought the Dakota's had a deep backspace.

My Dakota front soft 8's are the "for Dakota" version offered by Cragar, and they aren't that deep.

All newer cars for a while now have deep backspacing.

What size are they? If you go to the Cragar website you can find the specs on all their wheels.

One thing about these, not as much chance of getting mud up in the wheel.

If you look at the picture you can see the lugs are in a kind of deep well, it looks like they might have normal back spacing, just a different look.
