People are always asking on here why there isn't a rear disc brake kit that bolts onto Mopar rear ends and retains the tapered roller bearings. Looks like someone finally solved that problem.

My guess is it will, as pass. car Dana 60 housing ends are the same as 8.75 housing ends.

the SSBC kit retains the stock adjustable bearings as well. but that looks nice too, what caliper is that bolted on there?

The TSM kits work with the tapered bearings just fine.

It isn't an AR Enginering product but I did do a little design work on one of the parts. I'll leave the details for the company that is going to be selling them to fill in when he is ready to announce it. (This setup might be at the Nats but I'm not positive if that is where it was headed or not when these pictures were snapped.)

I'm planning on putting this kit on my Coronet. It is the first rear disc kit that I've seriously considered useing on my own car.

I'm tempted to flip my "bogus' B body Dana and have your source make me one of those. Might talk to him at the Nats about it

This is DoctorDiff's kit. It uses Mustang Cobra calipers on a 10.7" Toyota rotor. It's 17 lbs lighter than 11" drums per side, for a total weight savings of 34 lbs.

The main benefits of this kit are:
1) All new parts. There is no scrounging or core charge involved.
2) Fits in stock 14" and 15" drop-center wheels.
3) Will work with stock tapered roller (set-7) bearings.
4) The price will be competitive with the TSM kit, and cheaper than everything else.
5) Easy/Clean install.

He's also coming out with a larger 11.7" version that will fit in some but not all 15" wheels.

Cass didn't bring this kit to the Nats, as it is being shipped to a customer, but you can talk to him there. Otherwise, he will be back around August 22nd. It should be for sale by the end of August.
