$128! 2001 CTD oil pressure sender switch

Looks like the oil pressure sender switch is bad in my new rig, as it reads 80 psi when not running.
Looking on RockAuto, they are $128- for a sender switch.
Am I missing something here, or is this nuts? The switch looks pretty basic.

Not yet: in seeing that MoparMan1973 had a section regarding this sender unit in his 2nd Gen 24V webpage, I figured it was a common failure/issue.
I will do that however- thanks Stumpy.

I'm not sure exactly what year Ma started doing this but I know at some point the sender just became an on off switch and the gauge was controlled by software to read what it should be, at whatever temp and rpm. No actual input from the sender.
