IF the SS springs work correctly the rear should lift up more than the pinion gear will twist up,the snubber will never touch the floor Take it off, it is extra weight I've tested the snubbers on many drag cars, they don't work with good springs

When I ran SS springs, the car was quicker w/o the snubber. Back to back test at the track. This was on a mid 11 sec street/strip car.

Like what was said above, with SS springs, which have a shorter front segment to control spring windup on the launch, you shouldn't need the pinion snubber bandaid anymore. Plus you get to save weight, never forget about weight.
