My neighbor Nascar guy--best in the land has already done best numbers I have seen with that head--he would love to help you out with any development you need--out of all the folks that did one our guys achieved the best overall numbers with killer low lift numbers as well
Trouble is spending big loot to port that head is not cost effective as Edelbrocks race head and Indys have the edge in all out race head but...those heads LOVE a quickie bowl port and clean up with a tight valve job and chamber clean up--That IMO is where that head works best in the current market.
It is way better than the Edelbrock and heads from other sources IMO quality casting, guide material, seats etc but....spending big $$ for full port and polish puts it inline $$wise with better stuff
Now if someone would do a good CNC job for the $300-$400 range--head porters would be like mules--out of work but everyone insist on getting $1K ( silly price) for a CNC job so folks keep grinding.
