curious, what others are using, my 70 runner will have a 535 stroker, 727 with RMV,6pak,using the classic style sun tach old school look clamped around steering column, but with this new motor looking at the tach's that have shift point lights, never had one before so thought i get an idea what you guys like to use? all most all street driven, but really enjoy stomping on the go pedal (maybe that's were my title came from?)

in shift light.. I believe the number is 4353... I dont

I run a VDO flush mounted where my speedo was in the dash cluster and an MSD shift light on top of the steering wheel.

Autometer has a variety of Ultimate playback tachs. That was one of the best "tools" I ever bought. I learned a lot about where I was ACTUALLY staging, shifting and what was going on with converter flash, rpm drops, etc. They also have a driveshaft rpm sensor. Their latest - Ultimate DL, has O2 and pressure channels as well, all in one neat package. I believe a shift light is an option.
