I bought one of Mikes replica air grabbers from BEA auto. I can't decide if I want to fix the grabber door where it stays open all the time or cobble up some kind of way with an electric motor where I can open and close it from inside. Where can I find an electric 12V motor that opens about 3 inches?? And does anyone have any other suggestions????

I'd go to the bone yard and get a rear side window motor out of a '96-2000 Caravan.... the linkage they have is set up to move about exactly what an Air Grabber would. as a matter of fact I have a couple of them if you want one you can have it for the cost of shipping.
Let me know.

How does that attach to the actuator bracket under the hood, though? I'm looking to do the same thing on my '72 RR A/G. I was looking at trying to make the cruise control actuator out of a '89 Camry work, but maybe this would be easier.

Got any pics of an install?
