830 hp small block.im trying to get an idea on how fast it will go in good air. 2950lb-dart.and will i need parachute. the car is going in for some work.to update some things so i was just wondering. what do you guys think.This car with 600hp has been 135mph

Should be enough to tickle the 150 mark.

A parachute is going to be a good idea regardless with that much power / speed. A friends 8 second car broke a brake line last week, he was able to pull the chute and get the car stopped before anything bad happened. Without the chute I bet the car would have been a total loss.

Yep.... Should go 8.90's at 150+ if it making a true 830 at that race weight.

I went 8.94@ 151 with 850 hp (corrected) at 3000#. That was a personal best with good air and a hooking track. More average was 9.oh's at 149ish. If your chassis is working a high 8 or 9.oh is in reach.
