I would love to have one like the lm2 that stores data. I just don't know if i'll be able to afford one, hunting season is right around the corner and I need to save a little for fuel and ammunition and my rifle needs a new scope. Never ending with the spending. I will see what I can swing by the end of the summer.

If you have a laptop, the Innovate LC2 (seems to have replaced the LC1 which I use) will datalog plus run a gauge and other stuff too. MSR $189

serial tells me that their firmware is probably old and outdated, plus converters don't always work right.

yes you need a USB to serial adapter. They are all of $10. Wideband logging is not of much use if you cannot correlate that data to additional data such as RPM, throttle position etc... I would do the go-pro/cell vid gauge method on a carb and hopefully atleast get RPM in the picture.

however if you pull out a handheld video of your AF guage on an ODBII car, your tuner is going to hate you for it

It also has provisions to hook up some tach pick up leads so the Wide band Commander should also record RPM (my car is down for upgrades currently, the wide band is just one)
