And why are we comparing a Challenger to a tuner Corvette

Ok I give up. Your ho hum Calloway Corvette is a factory car that Chevrolet will warranty 100000 miles for the power train and nothing in Gods creation short of an F-16 will ever beat an LS3 anything. I'm sure the VIN on your Calloway reflects it came straight from Bowling Green Kentucky.

Some of us actually have to abide by NHRA rules and it looks as if this car falls into the 10.99 and under area..
So, I'm questioning whether NHRA will really tech these cars or simply let them pass through..
It gets even more strict after 135 mph..

What is the fastest bone stock factory produced LS engine powered car's best time?

People before you say you do not want or would never own a HellCat Challenger,stop by your Local Chevy Dealership with your Wife or Girlfriend and test drive a ZR1 Camaro(you can forget about the ZR1 Vette you will be lucky if they even let you set in it)both of you set in it and let the seats all the way to the rear and tell the Sales person you would like to Test drive it,unless its a 98 lb Women they will not be able to climb in the back seat and ride with you.Then come back and tell everyone how you like it.  I'm talking about a Bone Stock.Factory Produced

Never happen...One, I will never buy anything new from a dealer again, two, I would never buy or want a corvette, three I would not pay$100k for a car that goes 10.80's, four I will not buy anything from lying idiot sales men, five I cannot even remotely deal with idiot service departments anymore...Sorry, but the dealership thing with high pressure sales tactics BS promises, and BS warrenties are never again going to be any part of buying another car/truck that sits in my driveway. They ruined it for themselves...
I would be very happy with a nice 36000 mile V6 Challenger I buy on the cheap, and a turbo and kick Hellcat butt though....And mine would have a roll bar and meet tech...
