Today was Dans funeral up here in Syracuse. His immediate family and friends were on hand. Its was a small, simple and nice service. Dan will be missed by many, and I know that he left us all too soon. Please take a moment and remember Dan in whatever way your comfortable. Dan loved his Moparts family for sure, and he had made many many friends over the years from this site. If you have a special memory of Dan, please feel free to share it here.

We did give Dan a special send off, in a 67 Coronet R/T,( which was the same as his car he owned from his younger days) and we left the funeral home in a cloud of smoke..I may be able to get a short video off a phone later.

R.I.P brother Dan Costello....

RIP Dan, one of the great guys here. Some guys here won't share information unless you're buying something. Dan wasn't that way, he spent a bunch of time on the phone with me when I was considering my stroker. I think he truly enjoyed sharing. Gods speed.

I dont usually reply on posts of this type but a lot of people around here were freinds and/ or customers of Dan's and to them, as well as his family I offer my sincere condolences.
Its pretty clear he had a pretty high following.
Rest in peace, Dan.

Everytime I look at the Scamp or start thinking about doing something different I think of him. All I can say is when I was talking to him about my motor build I felt as I was dealing with my own Dad. He will be missed .

He did the same for me, and not only was he happy to do so, I agree that he actually seemed to enjoy it, even though he knew I wasn't yet ready to proceed. He just wanted to share his thoughts and ideas. I wish there were more like him.

I gave this post a sticky so that more people will see it. RIP Dan.

Contrary to what Dan would think but I'm speechless.
RIP my friend.
