Taking the advice of a fellow-Mopartian, I've disguised this thread because I wasn't sure where to stick it - and I've been assured a Mod will park it correctly. Would this be considered "Thread Valet"?

My 84 D350 Crew Cab; 2 doors are hard to open like the dickens from the outside - but if I reach in and use the inside handle, they open with ease. Is this an adjustment that can be made if I tear it apart and work on it? Has metal fatigued or bent? Is something worn out?

Thanks!

Check and see if the outside handle actuator rods are bent. This happened on a 92 regal kind of car. Gave them a tweak, and it works good, until next winter when the doors freeze.

The opening with ease is a very good sign to me that either an adjustment or a minor piece that can be replaced/repaired will take care of this as opposed to the whole shebang being fubared & needing major body work
