Im still working on the colors but I think it is close to the original hub cap colors. I also ordered the motor today, an aluminum gen III 6.1 Hemi stroked to 426 ci and about 650 hp
Thanks
Pat

Those wheels are awesome even though I am not a fan of large dia wheels on musclecars. One of my dream cars is to also have a Bullit Clone 68 Charger someday. I'll bet those were not cheap.... Awesome decision to have them made.

I finished the rust repair on the right side quarter panel, it required 3 small patch panels and a little fender well repair. The trunk floor extensions have some pits but require no repair just a coat of POR 15.
Thanks
Pat

I also had the tires mounted on the new wheels but I have yet to cut in the mini tub so I had to put the front wheels on the rear for pictures as the 12 wheel with the 335 tire dont fit the car yet.
Thanks
Pat

I plan on testing a 3/16 black line on the outer rim as it is on the original hub cap. Im having 17 7/8x 3/16 vinyl ring made to check the look.

I installed a vinyl black ring on one of the wheels to match the black line on the hub caps and I like the look. Hard to see the black line in the pictures but I think it finishes the look of the wheel.
Thanks
Pat

The silver Charger was a fun car to build that why I'm doing another one! Did you see the silver charger in person?
Thanks!
Pat

Received a few pictures of the motor Indy is building for the charger. As soon as the 2nd FAST throttle body shows up I will drive out for the Dyno and bring it home.
Thanks
Pat

Added a cross member just forward of the leaf spring mounts. Used a 2 x 1 C channel cut and welded to fit in the floor tunnel under the rear seat. This should add additional rigidity to the chassis without impeding the driveshaft. Torque boxes are next.
Thanks
Pat

Drove to Reilly Motorsports yesterday to pick up the front and rear suspension for the charger. Bill Reilly is a great guy and he had everything ready for pickup! Also stopped in Hazleton PA for the best chili dogs at Jimmys! I will post a few more picture of the RMS part when I get them out of the boxes.
Thanks
Pat

Assembled the shocks using anti-seize and chased the threads on the upper control arms. Nice working on clean new stuff instead of old rusty stuff.
Thanks
Pat

I assemble the new front wheel hubs, hats and the rotors. I used the same Wilwood 13 6 piston brakes on my last 68 Chargers and they worked great!
Thanks
Pat

Build looks awesome. What is your procedure for metal finishing your welds down on the patch work? It looks fantastic!
