Just picked up this 354 for my '33. I was holding out for a 392, but hey, beggers can't be choosers.

Where did you find that? It's kind of a shame to pull it apart but I would do the same thing in your shoes

It doesn't run at the moment, but it shows 156 hours on the meter and the inside of the valve covers are pretty clean. It turns over very easily and I don't believe it would take much to get her to fire.

Sadly, the '33 is in an auto cocoon and I don't have any photos handy. It's an all steel, full fendered car that I'll get back to once I finish the car I'm working on now.

I will say, your build has been quite the inspiration for me to get back to working on my coupe.

Thats cool - I found a 354 powered sawmill rig a few years ago, and pulled the engine off it for my '55 plymouth. I took a lot of pictures because it was pretty neat.

Sounds like it should be a runner. I'm not sure I would have the patience to keep from trying to get it started. Hearing it run would probably sidetrack you from your current project though. Nice score!

They make diesel electric locomotives, how about a Hemi electric hotrod?
