This is what I have been working on lately
its a 1935 dodge highboy pick up,
I just shortened and weld the bed together today.
it has a custom frame with a 37 dodge wavy axle and disc
brakes, it has a 1968 440 with a 727 trans and a "B" body 8 3/4 rear end
mounted with a triangular 4 bars set up. next I have to cut down the grill shell about 4" and make a radiator mount.

nice project ron. is that one of your "for sale" projects ? interesting choice on the 1/4 eliptic front suspension. what rotors did you use on those early spindles ? all I have managed to do lately is fix a slight fubar on my fabbed steering column between bouts of sickness.......

yes it will be a for sale truck when its finished,
this time it will be COMPLETED, paint,interior,everything...

I stepped up and bought the rusty hope disc brake kit.
it uses Cordoba, aspen,Volare' rotors and gm caprice calipers.
its a nice kit, comes with spacers for the spindles, for the seals and bearings to ride up against

I still need to tap 2 lower holes to finish the install.

Very cool. Like how you tucked the headers in nice and close. Is it going to get a hood? Have a color in mind yet?

Peoria, AZ,
Got a first hand look at the truck on Friday before Ron and I set out for the Car Show on Grand in Escondido. The truck will definitely be a winner based on what he has done so far!! First class work... for sure.
( Ron It was great seeing you Friday... a fun day for sure!!)
Big Jim....
