Which rod bearing do you use and why?
K-1 rods with big block Chevy rod bearing and Mopar width.
Coated or non coated?
How much clearance for street and strip use?
Thanks
Jerry

CB743HN And CD743HNX
Buy them coated from Calico. Or if you don't want to mess with having them coated, buy the CB743HNK (K = precoated)
The "X" is .0005 larger to allow for the coating.
It's not unusual to mix HN and HNX halves.
Set the clearance for a street engine between .0025 and .0035, on the high side as you go up in power.
