Or if you don't want to mess with having them coated, buy the CB743HNK (K = precoated) The "X" is .0005 larger to allow for the coating. It's not unusual to mix HN and HNX halves. Set the clearance for a street engine between .0025 and .0035, on the high side as you go up in power.
