I've read (on another website) that the recommended way to remove an engine from a Pacifica is to take it out the bottom. I don't have access to a lift. Can the engine be removed by pulling the front clip instead?

The car in question is a 2005 Pacifica with the 3.5 engine.

Edit: How difficult is it to swap one of these engines.

just did one,actually twice. yes u can get engine out the top. pull bumper cover and beam,headlites,rad and condenser. pull plenum. its tight, but it does come out. mine was also a 2005,3.5,fwd pacifica. good luck.
