Yep! Super Dave, Ice Man, etc etc etc won class in Houston. My right arm was working well but my right eye was not. Congrats to him on his holeshot win for the Wally. So I got to tell Jane, can't quit, haven't won yet. Thank you Super Dave!!

As for 31's, not here/???

Nice work Stephen! We still thought you ran pretty good.

Daniels and Wolkwitz ran pretty good over in Atco, too. But did anybody see that .48 out of Pancake's @ Indy???

Great weekend for the Hemi's!!

Every time one of us ran yesterday the announcer would proclaim National Hemi Day as the date was 4/26. He also said Mopar had a clip on it on their website. Pretty neat! Got a pic of David Reher standing by the RMRE tribute car. Speaking of pics, a lot were taken of that thing.

I know Charlie posted a while back about the Hemi Shoot-Out in Michigan this week end. Does anybody know who else is supposed to be there, other than the folks that Charlie posted? I hope it goes great, and next year it isn't on the same week end as the Chrysler Power Classic in Columbus.
Charlie can you, or can you have somebody, post the results, as this thread has been kind of dead lately?
Thanks,
Dan

We were actually loaded up and in route via RMRE Arlington, but the bad news is we had to cancel. The good news is the RMRE car is moving to AH, SO if anyone needs a 572 hemi complete drive line R&P etc, mosey over to A body parts for sale.

The two camo cars and Gus Mantus(sp?)

I only saw CW-Jr/Sr make passes. They did a best two out of three deal. I believe the best run was CW-Jr with a 8.37, but I didn't see there last pair of passes.

Very cool to see the hemi's at Martin. Awesome machines.

Mantis put his around on the big end Sat night on a cool track. He said it was a case of radial tire shake when he hit the brakes to slow down. Car spun around but avoided the wall. Cool car, real nice owner. Went 75 on that pass. Was looking at brake bias.
Jr made one lap Sat night( 42@159 and change)
Unfortunately wasnt able to go up Sunday.

Looks like we may have 15 cars at the Grove on June 22nd. Of course depending on how the Mag 7 fare at ETown next week.

That's a long way to drag the Sled without any snow but just may do it.

When did the automatic cars go to a radial tire?
And have any of the stick cars ever tried it?

I see on Class Racer that Bucky wrecked to "end the evening" at Maple Grove point meet. Also said he is OK and car can be fixed which is good.

Wow! Could've been much worse, but that still sucks!

Glad it will be fixed!
