Wanna some better/complete images? Don't believe I have the fuel lines connected on them. Thanks. It's an honor using my car for your showcasing..... I have to go get some gaskets !!!

Totally zoned out that the AVS base plate gaskets I have won't work.. Opppssss..

I have always lived in a AVS/6pack world before. Never got the '68 Hemi Charger running before I traded it..

The one thing I really like is that you put headers on it. You cannot escape the fact that the sound of a car with headers as it comes towards you, especially a full exhaust car, has a completely different quality to it that adds to the muscle car mystique. Even thick wall headers let more sound escape to the front and sides, and it's a unique sound that gets lost with cast iron manifolds.

Well, did some more this weekend. Put together some of the lower suspension/torsion bars, heater hoses with the proper routing and modified the MSD Blaster coil with one of ECS's coil label transfers. Came out great !!! That was for all the guys who pointed out the white lettered previous coil...

After a nice and wonderful dinner with the family, Kim can cook !!! I decided to pay some attention to the fuel lines, radiator and well, something else. I straightened some if the radiator core fins that were bend and blow it out with some compressed air. Then I installed the rear and front fuel and vent rubber hoses. Finally, I added a nice touch which is more appropriate now..

New brake system means new fluid. I went with this very high temp racing fluid. Under the hood of this Daytona, it can get warm....good stuff...

Very good stuff. But way overkill for underhood temps.

High temp brake fluid is for the 400 degree temps a wheel cylinder my see when the pad is seeing exteme temperatures while on a road course track or someone towing downhill and using brakes hard. I know real 440 Daytonas that go on track days.

If you are boiling brake fluid from underhood temps, you should have a fire extinguisher in one hand and calling the fire dept with the other.

I am not boiling brake fluid. But, this particular winged car used to have extremely hot engine temps due to low air flow. I attributed it to the exhaust manifolds getting hot and transferring heat into an engine compartment faster than it could get out. The white harness straps for the windshield washer hoses would melt. So, I don't want to take any chances.. A winged car isn't your typical car. Over engineered to me isn't overkill in this regard.... Better safe than sorry....

Absolutely spot-on...

I'd rather have it...

Then wish I did...
