What thread sealer should I use on head bolts that protrude into water jackets?

Thanks...Rodsports.

I worked at a GM dealer for years. Their Teflon thread sealer has never failed to seal anything I've used it on. It's the only GM part on my car.

I've always used "The Green Stuff" pipe dope. High temp and works great.

i have had great luck with loctite #567 . high temp and good for all metal types as well as plastic fittings. good for up to 13,790kpa. pressure. has teflon in it which prevents thread galling. pretty much all i use any more.

Same here. We use it at work so I picked some up for myself.
