Hi guys, wondering if anybody has ever tried one to see if it clears the Hughes stud girdle (360 small block) - thanks for any info!

3 potential issues I see. #1 stud clearance. #2 width clearance. #3 pick up tube clearance.

The center pan cutout in the middle of a Milodon Road Race pan AND Milodon Low Pro pan is very close to the windage tray nuts.

We dimpled the pan there for a little windage tray nut clearance. I'm running a 4" scat stroker crank. So the windage tray was adjusted out for the extra stroke.

Your gridle is much closer to to the main caps, I believe?? So I don't see an issue there. But look at the pics below.

The girdle sits way lower than the Milodon windage tray. So you won't have any stud to pan issues. Nothing to do with the girdle, but you may have to cut the center studs if they are extra long.

If this girdle will work with a stock pan, I don't see there being any width issues. The Milodon pan is stock at the area of the girdle.

The only issue I see could be the pickup tube. The pickup tube comes straight out and turns up. It sort of straddles the main caps. Question is: will the girdle be below it?

I have a feeling the Milodon Low Pro pickup takes similar route out of the pump and next to the caps. So ask Hughes if they have had ANY interference with any SB Milodon pans. Then ask about the Lo Pro.

IIRC, Hughes sells the Milodon Road Race pan. Maybe they could do a quick mock up?
