Uhhhh, almost too much praise for a low key Finn! Thanks, I appreciate it! It seems that each trip makes the "bucket list" longer though! I really have to stay at least a couple of weeks in Detroit the next time! And then there's Windsor and I haven't been to the Petty Museum yet (which is moving back to the original historic location as we speak), I'd like to see the guards of the unknown in Washington, take the Airstream tour, see the Peterbilt factory if possible, visit my uncle's neighborhood in Chicago, the Chrysler mansion in New York, get inside the Chrysler Building...the list just goes on...and I never seem to have time for any wrecking yards anymore!
No worries about my enthusiasm getting ruined Jim! I am pretty well aware what is going on. Years of research really made me love America even more, the wisdom of the Founding Fathers is really amazing not to mention how well their thoughts fit even in the world of today.
My sincere thanks to everybody who made yet another trip to America an unforgettable one! Hope to see you soon again!

If you go through the trip pics from two years ago you'll find photos of Meadow Brook.
I never had the chance to take the inside tour so I have to visit again! I don't think that photos are allowed inside though.

I went and found your first tour in the Best of Moparts...I somehow missed it the first time around. The stories and pics are just amazing. Lots of great history too.
When do you plan on coming back? Too bad you managed to miss Moparfest. Usually a few c-bodies and foward look cars.
Dave
I was at the Woodward cruise looking for Hans as he was supposed to go with me to Moparfest, but he went to the Wiper factory instead...
I'd love to go to Moparfest too, I will provide a C-body of some kind! Cross your fingers and I might have a new job soon. No more Wiper tours, but maybe CTC...

Agree 1000 times over, Cannot thank you enough for sharing. WOW there's a mixture of everything, maybe a bit heavy on the Mopar side but YEEHA they ruled back in the day. You might think about compiling this onto someplace I can share with people not on Moparts. WOW AWESOME, AMAZING and thanks for sharing

It is about time, Hans! I am sure with all your free time it will be up in a matter of days...

Hey Jim, you could offer me a better paying job so that I wouldn't have to work around the clock for peanuts! It would be for the common good, that's the way to go these days? Lol. I've been following the Packard Plant thing, I sure wish this guy is able to save parts of the plant, it sure would be in the last minute. He seems to be an interesting character and plans to live on site. http://www.freep.com/article/20131031/BUSINESS06/310310112/
