Hi, I'm new to the board here and been working on a father son project on a '70 440 cuda and just installed the Vintage air system and don't know which hose goes where on the water pump. I appreciate any help and hope to post pics if I can figure out how...looks like I got an older photo in here

Welcome aboard . Hot water comes out of the top hole on each side of the front of the block then on the pump housing the passages turn inward toward the thermostat housing in the center so the heater inlet would be the rear nipple on the pass side that draws coolant from that passage. The front lower nipple is where the impeller vanes draw the coolant back in

Rapid Robert, thanks for the welcome and the reply. The water pump is after market and both lines for the heater core point up with one in the front in the impeller area and the other close to the block. I think the one by the block is the supply to the heater core and the impeller nipple in front is the return no?

As you know have the hoses on the correct firewall nipples also. That reminds me I have a "cat" pump with curved impeller teeth & they are pretty shallow compared to a regular vane type pump. I need to post a pic of it & see what people think of it. I gotta 451 in the works (first BB in decades). I couldn't get your attachment to open up
