mprhound,
Wow, that's crazy! Just shows how fine the line can be between success and failure on Drag Week. A 505 will really test the drivetrain on that beast.

Bad340fish,
Some people think that when you run dual optimas all the way down, a simple jump start is all that is required, then the alternator will take it from there...

Triple Threat,
Only a sucker would take that bet! Since I bought the new springs for the Barnyard Viper, I'm going to be upset if I have to help put them on!

ksj,
Likewise, the only guy from Kansas that scares me is Bob Weakland...still! As far as which cars on Drag Week next year...no clue, give me until march to start on that!

tsanchez,
Best looking? Why do all the pictures I've found from Drag Week, feature you inside the Javelin, not out of it?

#26 BOB LARSON 1938 GREEN DODGE COUPE
Day 1 15.624-86.58
Day 2 15.281-88.57
Day 3 14.676-93.09
Day 4 15.833-71.84
Day 5 15.028-86.21
5 Day Average: 15.2884-85.258

Bob's Patina Rod made it's debut at DW2010, then at DW2011 broke an axle at test and tune, and was unable to continue. Bob had surgery for brain cancer before DW2013, and completing Drag Week with his son this year was a victory of unbelievable proportions. The 440 wasn't happy all week, but they got it done!

LOL. Bob Weakland doesn't scare me.He was my neighbor in high school.I can remember when he got that slant 6 car. When my brother moved to Oklahoma from Kansas he raised the IQ of both states.
Bob with the 38 is an inspiration.Last year he didn't show up at HPT to test at all.It wasn't til DW we knew why.

Mopar Small Block Fox Body

Accidently left this one off the list, but I guess I'll have to give him the Moparts "Honorable mention". Check out the Hot Rod Mini Feature above for more details.
