I need a replacement T handle and I'm not impressed with the plastic repops. The fake pistol grip is also out of the question, what other choices are there?

Reproduction T-Handle.
NOS T-handle.
Either design of automatic pistol grip.
Convert to 1970 style ball handle and button type mechanism.

To my knowledge those are the only stock appearing options. Otherwise convert to an aftermarket race setup.

I feel your pain. I can't seem to keep a reproduction from splitting at the seam where the two halves come together. Just doesn't seem to be anyone interested in making an upgraded design.

I've heard of a few people reinforcing the inside of the stock T handle. The factory design wasn't very good.

I have two originals and a repop. The repop has a thicker plastic on the bottom where they typically fail. I use that one. One of the originals is all taped up from cracking in use. I put that one on for whenever someone else, like an alignment technician is going to be driving the car. That is how it failed in the first place. (What do mean you have to push the button to move the shifter?)
