The cam broke on my turn signal switch. Tried another cam but it did not work so I'm going to replace the entire assembly. I've herd some talk about the new aftermarket switches having defects. Anyone know about this? Is it better to spend the extra money for NOS??

I bought a repo for my 68 X and it lasted less than a thousand miles before it broke. One side I either have to hold the stalk to keep it on or it doesn't cancel. It didn't have a roller contact for the horn which I didn't like either. I see some of the current ones do. I just got a new woodgrain wheel and debating whether or not to try another repo or pony up for a NOS while the wheel is off. Thanks for your answer sthemi!

I've heard of numerous issues with the repops for the 67-69 switch ( 1970 and later is still avail thru Mopar )

Fortunately I have not HAD to use a repop ,,, yet.I've done maybe 3 or 4 early columns and have been able to come up with an nos reasonably (under $100 ) every time.

Until NOS becomes impossible to find,, I have no plans to use any repop switch.
Comebacks suck and time is money
