With Dave there's no telling.
He landed a ton of money in a very short period of time. The cash got to his head and he started throwing money everywhere.

REAL hippies eschew money.

I can see it now. The car is done and it's very nice, the owner is proud, and now we get the post.
"Why does every one call my Imp a Thunderbird?"

Seriously though what's up with use a different car to hot rod. That's what hot rodding is take what you got and hop it up. Different used to be what it's about. I like the idea. Go all out and surprise the boulevard cruisers.
I would think a built 360 with all the f body goodies mentioned above.

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.

"built 360"?????

That's a WhoGAS motor in a WhoGAS car.

Now, on the other hand, ANY 5.7 Hemi will turn the car into a Wow! car.

If you want a hot rod, build a Duster. That's the proper place for a "built 360".

A new hemi and 518 would be the ticket.

I've been pondering what I'll get when the lease is up on the smart.
Building a wedge Imperial with that drivetrain is tempting.

... but on Mopar style dot com, Dave has done a beautiful job with his J Imperial.
... Just go to his site and go to forums.

I used to hang around there I think 4-5 years ago but I thought 2 years ago that site had folded already. Site or forums are nowhere to be found at least.

Moparstyle.com-domain doesn't resolve to anything although it still seems visible under Google.

Did he block foreign countries from his server perhaps?

its still around.

I used to go there sometimes until my account got deleted after I didn't visit for a few months. I never bothered joining again.

I liked Dave's Imperial, he did a good job with it. I have no comment on anything else.

I had an 83 Cordoba for a while and built a nice 390stroker....... 3.73 gear 8 3/4 with 2600 stall L/U a-999......... Ran 13.12 with a crappy 60ft......
A/C worked and I put buckets in with a center console. Welded in sub-frame connectors and big meats on the back the car was very comfortable to drive. This car was a ton of fun on the street and beating up on 7 series beemers was easy! I say stroker gen 3 hemi with an A-518 would be awesome! TBF
